Bravo Zulu, also referred to as "BZ," is a naval signal, typically conveyed by signal flags, meaning "Well Done.” The term originates from the Allied Tactical Publication 1, an international naval signal code adopted after the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was created in 1949.
